Drop-in Weekly Classes

Candler Park Yoga in Atlanta, GA: Thursday 6:15p-7:15p

The Synapse System in Atlanta, GA – Each week, I teach four classes working with participants in this 12-week Intensive Outpatient Protocol (IOP) supporting clients/patients recovering from opiod, alcohol and other addictive behavior patterns. Please contact Dr. Janet Cox for more information.

I also teach mindfully adaptive and sensitive yoga, pranayama and meditation classes for participants in for Synapse program.  These classes are only open to clients of the Synapse System!

The Synapse System is a principled set of interdependent treatment components delivered in a 12-week, Intensive Outpatient format designed to address substance use disorders, as well as, substance misuse. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is the most advanced, evidence-informed, neuroscientific approach to treatment available on an outpatient basis. For adolescent treatment, our program also allows for school participation.  The passion, to help adolescents and adults become their best possible self while maximizing their full potential in all of life’s domains, is evident throughout our approach.

Statement of Faith

If we are somehow endowed with participation of some kind of divinity, then we are indeed special, and should treat each other with the respect and dignity this demands.

If, on the other hand, we are the accidental outcome of blind natural processes in a cosmos that is indifferent to us being here at all, then we are indeed special, and should treat each other with a tenderness and respect befitting such serendipitous surprises.
